Isabel was born at Melbourne, Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian while her mother is Swiss. Her family has lived in the Swiss, in Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. She attended school with Nina and children from different backgrounds, such as First Nations. Isabel lives with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in drama from her early high school days. When she graduated from Queensland Institute of Technology (QUT), she continued her studies in drama at the Victorian College of Arts. She also recently completed a course in the Perdekamp emotional technique. The agent who discovered her was in 2002. She'd never attempted to audition for a part before. She was in the process of auditioning for the role of Home and Away, 1988. They felt that she was not appropriate for the role but were sufficiently impressed that they created a brand new character to her Tasha. In her 3 year stint in her debut TV appearance the actress was awarded an Logie Award. Isabel relocated between London and Los Angeles in 2008. In the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, 2009 was her debut major role. Since then, Isabel has starred and been awarded in numerous US films and Australian productions. Isabel was recently a character of Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy which is fast becoming an Australian iconic film, as well as the soon-to-be-released thriller Lunacy. Isabel completed Sons of Summer recently and is now in pre-production together with Annika who is a writer and director. Annika has received numerous awards. Isabel is a proponent of animal rights as well as having worked for several environmental organisations. Over the last 10 years she's been the ambassador for Melbourne Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel was chosen as the spokesperson for several campaigns, and was also chosen as a brand ambassador because she is dedicated to eco-friendly, ethical questions as well as social justice.
